Elm, a pioneer in digital solutions, welcomed a high-level delegation from the Syrian Ministry of Communications and Technology, led by H.E. Eng. Abdulsalam Heikal, during an official visit to the company's headquarters. The visit provided an opportunity to explore avenues of cooperation in digital transformation and advanced technology solutions.
During the meeting, His Excellency and the accompanying delegation were introduced to Elm's innovative solutions in artificial intelligence and digital services. They also witnessed a live demonstration of Elm's self-driving car technology, developed as part of the company's ongoing investments in research and development and its pioneering efforts in building intelligent mobility systems.
Minister Heikal commended Elm's extensive expertise in developing digital ecosystems in partnership with Saudi government institutions, emphasizing that “Syria is working to establish a national digital infrastructure that benefits from leading experiences in the region."
In a tweet published prior to the visit, His Excellency expressed his anticipation to learn more about Saudi Arabia's remarkable achievements in the ICT and digital services sector, describing the Saudi experience as “an advanced model that we take pride in, draw inspiration from, and seek opportunities to partner with." He added that this visit marks an important step in strengthening cooperation to help build a modern digital economy and unlock new opportunities for Syrian youth.
The visit underscored the importance of exchanging expertise and fostering technological partnerships, paving the way for future joint initiatives in digital transformation and innovation.
