London, September 4, 2025 –
Elm, the Saudi digital solutions pioneer, announced the signing of three strategic agreements and memoranda of understanding during its participation in the GREAT Futures conference, held in London as part of the Saudi–UK Strategic Partnership Council. The event brought together senior representatives from both governments alongside business and innovation leaders to explore opportunities across more than 13 promising sectors, including education, tourism, culture, healthcare, sports, investment, and financial services.
As part of the conference, Elm announced a research agreement with Imperial College Consultants, the consulting arm of Imperial College London, aimed at leveraging academic expertise and world-class research capabilities to deliver practical solutions for industry and society. The partnership will focus on developing advanced frameworks to enhance the safety of autonomous vehicles by integrating the latest advancements in smart mobility and generative AI, including a visual model enabling vehicles to better interpret their surroundings and respond swiftly to real-world scenarios. This project builds on Elm's previous efforts in autonomous vehicle simulation and seeks to improve real-time decision-making and raise safety standards.
The second agreement was signed with Fountech Labs, a UK-based company specializing in scaling AI technologies across European and UK markets. This partnership capitalizes on Elm's proprietary innovations in computer vision and data analysis, while Fountech's expertise in market penetration will support the wider adoption of these solutions in Europe. Together, the collaboration aims to deliver trustworthy, secure, and compliant AI applications that strengthen digital transformation efforts and build institutional confidence in emerging technologies.
The third agreement was concluded with MTX Europe, the European subsidiary of the global consulting firm MTX Group. The collaboration focuses on accelerating the UK public sector's adoption of AI and emerging technologies through joint projects and pilot initiatives that enhance service efficiency and quality, ultimately improving government performance and delivering long-term societal benefits.
Commenting on the occasion, Majed Al Arifi, Elm's official spokesperson and Executive Vice President of Marketing, said: “Our participation in GREAT Futures and the signing of these three agreements mark an important milestone in our global expansion journey. Through such strategic partnerships, Elm continues to invest in the development of innovative AI and emerging technology solutions that ensure business sustainability, reliability, and efficiency. This direction reflects our commitment to accelerating digital transformation and driving innovation, creating tangible impact in the quality of public services while preparing societies for a smarter and more sustainable future."
These agreements reflect Elm's growing international role, as the company continues to strengthen its presence through global forums and strategic collaborations with leading technology organizations. The establishment of its London office exemplifies this direction, providing a gateway to European markets and new opportunities for research, development, and advanced technology applications that contribute to building a knowledge-driven and innovation-led economy.
