Elm Football Team wins the 2016 Private Sector League Championship

Recently, Elm football team won the private sector league championship in Riyadh, after winning the final match against the Saudi Hollandi Bank 4 - 0, in the presence of the company CEO, Dr. AbdulRahman bin Saad Aljadhai. Since October 1, 2016, Elm HR committee has finished all necessary registration for the tournament, trained and prepared the team with friendly matches to be ready.
Elm participation in this tournament enables its staff to be presented in this important event, to promote public health culture through sports, to encourage communication with employees of other companies and to emphasize on community public health according to Vision 2030.
Many companies participated in this tournament besides Elm, such as Takamul, Maaden, Saudi Hollandi Bank, Alinma Bank, Saudi Investment Bank, Theeb and BAE Systems.
The purpose of this tournament is to build a healthy community that practices sports, therefore the tournament is a positive initiative which targets employees of companies, banks and other organisations in the private sector, in order to promote public health education and practicing sports to help reducing work pressure, daily routine and to maintain healthy minds and disease-free bodies.
The tournament is held using the group qualification and knockout process, where groups winners are qualified for the final rounds. The number of players is 20, 9 of them are substitutes.
 
Elm created its HR committee to pay attention to employees needs and to make the company an attractive and distinctive work environment. An HRC president is elected every term by employees voting and the committee is responsible for organizing events, occasions, seasonal outdoor activities and friendly meetings such as this tournament, as well as, presenting monthly gifts.
