Elm Defended Itself from Hacking Attempt and Confirms Its Systems’ Security

Elm has discovered an attempt to breach Elm's system caused by malicious e-mails late Tuesday 10 May 2016. The attack is identified as Zero-day Malware where an attacker takes advantage of a vulnerability in computer systems. Elm security systems were successfully able to detect the malware where it was sent through a trusted organization. And then, the malware has the ability to, automatically generate emails containing the malware itself. Elm confirms that the malware was successfully contained, and its system are working as normal.
 
Mr. Majid Saad Alarifi, Elm's spokesman, stated that Elm continously working to protect its system and committed to deliver secure solutions. He also said that Elm provides advanced services and technologies protected with sophisticated security solutions capable of helping Elm teams to detect and control any cyber attacks.
 
Mr. Alarifi added: “Elm has a well-connected emergency framework to not only response to cyber attacks but also to keep the company vigilant and ready to absorb any emergency situation with high resiliency. We have, additionally, taken immediate precautions by involving the Kingdom's official authorities".
 
Mr. Alarifi confirms that Elm seriously considers cyber security as one of the most essential parts of its success and strategy.
