Elm has achieved unprecedented success by joining the list of international companies who achieved Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), which is considered one of the most prestigious global models in the software development industry.
The strategic importance of this achievement for the company is a worldwide recognition for the company works in the fields of software engineering, quality and project management, in addition to an added value for the development and improvement of the company procedures and practices to achieve the highest international standards in all its work, furthermore, this will help in developing the experience of the developers to improve the quality of the company products delivered to the company's customers and service beneficiaries.
To obtain this global achievement, Elm has worked during the last period to develop and implement procedures and practices in line with the model (CMMI). The company has passed the initial assessment stages in 2015 and the evaluation team was led by an authorized lead assessor accredited by the American Software Engineering Institute (SEI) to monitor and evaluate projects under implementation, in addition to the projects of organizational and training procedures development across the company.
The SEI team started by creating a schedule within which regular meetings with a huge number of the company employees were held, reviews and assessments were conducted for the projects under implementation, the assessment team concluded that all work of the development, Quality Assurance, Project Management and business analysis departments in the "Elm" are in line and compatible with the standards of CMMI.
It is worth mentioning that the company has also won a "corporate membership" in the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) last year to become the first Arabian company to receive this membership. Elm will continue its global excellence and will put its efforts to implement the best practices and international standards which will reflect positively on the quality and level of projects and services offered by the company to its partners from the government and private sectors in the Kingdom.
