An Agreement is Signed Between Elm and Philips to Support Healthcare Goals of Saudi Vision 2030

Elm company (Owned by Public Investment Fund) have signed a cooperation agreement with "Royal Philips" (listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol PHG and in Amsterdam Stock Exchange under the symbol PHIA).
This cooperation aims to benefit from eservices, health information systems, medical image sharing systems and cloud computing solutions in order to support and contribute to the acceleration of digital transformation. This cooperation is part of Elm plans to be implemented with a number of companies offering electronic health services to contribute to the development of e-services and solutions, the knowledge transfer, domestic growth and increasing creative capabilities in developing and localizing human resources in the health sector.
Eng. Fahad Alshebel, Elm Executive Manager for sector services, stated that this agreement aims to provide Elm services for the health sector in order to develop cloud computing and fully automated health information exchange. The fully integrated digital systems will support digital transformation in the health sector and will be in line with the paradigm shift taking place in the Kingdom in light of the dominance of smart electronic services in all sectors. Such services will be carried out in an innovative approach for a health of higher quality and greater efficiency.
Eng. Fahad also stressed that this agreement will materialize part of Vision 2030, where e-services and advanced solutions will be provided by Elm and Philips to support digital transformation and reflect Vision 2030. There will be greater transparency among service providers, greater expansion of health electronic services and an increasing ability to innovate in all health areas using digital systems, cloud computing services and health information exchange systems.
Mr. Arjen Radder, CEO of Philips Middle East and Turkey, stated that this cooperation agreement with Elm will allow the establishment of digital infrastructure to integrate the health systems, hence pushing forward the transformation in the health care sector based on the Kingdom vision 2030.
